Why Modify Cylinder Heads?
If the performance, economy and reliability offered by modern engine designs could be achieved within the engine of your classic vehicle, would you be interested? The truth is, a lot of what makes a modern engine perform lies directly in its cylinder head and while it may not be possible to exactly mimic the performance that modern cylinder heads deliver, narrowing the gap between new and old engine technology is still very possible. Since so many of our customers demand increased performance and economy, without a loss of reliability or stock appearance, cylinder head modification becomes the obvious solution.
Not Just For Racers:
Regardless of their state of tune, all engines require a given amount of airflow into and out of them and since cylinder heads directly affect all of the airflow through an engine; they become one of the most critical parts thereof. In the past, airflow design was considered a "black art" and a lot of the port designs from that era were derived from nothing better than intuition or guesswork. Our modifications instead concentrate on increasing airflow efficiency, for the best power and torque, without losses in low-end performance or fuel economy. The fact is, improving airflow within the cylinder head of even a completely stock engine will allow it to perform to its best potential and that is the foundation of our work.
The Solution:
Our specialty has always been working with customers to tailor our cylinder head modifications to their own specific goals and parts combinations. Time and again our customers have stated how spending money on cylinder head work resulted in the greatest performance per dollar they spent toward achieving their goals. Please E-mail us about how we can help you achieve your goals, or with any other questions you may have about our services. We have years of experience with both engines and cylinder heads and we're always happy to help!
